CITA to Develop Smelter, Hope on Export Ease
Jakarta - TAMBANG. Since the ban on export of raw minerals came into effect on 12 January 2014, PT. Cita Mineral Investindo Tbk., (CITA) can no longer sell its bauxites. This year, the company will focus on completing the construction of its smelter, while still hope for leniency on the export policy. "This year, we will only focus on finishing the smelter; no capital expenditure to be incurred for production," explained Joshua Lumban Pardede, the companyís Corporate Secretary yesterday (10/4).

Tin Exploration Already Costs Fourteen Billion
Jakarta - TAMBANG. PT. Timah, Tbk.ís current exploration activitiesare rewarded with some positive results. Throughout March 2014, an ocean exploration has found an inferred tin resource of 1,070 tons, indicated tin resource of 918 tons and measured tin resource of 3,162 tons. Its land exploration also reaps a primary-inferred tin resource of 328 tons. The costs incurred for exploration thus far has not been in vain.

Delayed Pipeline Means Huge Loss for PLN
Jakarta - TAMBANG. The Labor Unionof the PLN has called forthe government to get the Tambak Lorok pipeline construction going to avoid greater loss. The unionís head, Deden Adhityadarma,explained that due to lack of gas supply, the PLN had to rely on fuel oil imports which will eventually cost five times higher than gas.

PLN Calls for Seriousness in Tambak Lorok Pipeline
Jakarta - TAMBANG. The pipeline project of Kepondang ĖTambak Lorok is part of the Kalija pipeline project previously controlled by the Bakrie and Brothers group. However, the groupís ownership is nowgreatly reduced after the purchase of 80% of its shares by the National Gas Company (PGN).
